  2. Share and collaborate in real time
  3. Safely store and organize your work
  4. Control who can see your documents
  5. View sample documents, products and files
  6. Create original Google docs independently and in collaboration with others

This workshop is designed for beginner through intermediate computer users, and will include discussion as well as examples of how these tools can be effectively used in K-12 as well as university classroom settings. Although this workshop is designed primarily with educators in mind, progressively-minded business leaders and employees are invited to attend as well and learn how to leverage Google applications within their industry sector. This workshop is BYOL: Bring your own laptop. AC power and wifi connectivity is provided. Participants will work independently and in collaborative teams during the workshop to create and share digital products.

Lunch and refreshments are provided, and included in the workshop cost.

The activities in this workshop are directly aligned to the Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS), student academic achievement standards and assessments. The primary goal of the workshop is to improve and increase teachers’ knowledge of digital literacy and the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for teachers / administrators / students, and help enable teachers to become highly qualified.
